Self-introduction

This is Yuecen Liu, you can call me Cicily. I am a sophomore, my major is economics, and my minor is statistics. I learned lots of economics principles and statistics calculation in two years. This makes me understand how the world operates from an economic perspective. 

In this course, I will mainly focus on "how do Disney films contribute to the construction of society's values and norms about gender roles?" and "have these values changed over time?".

In addition, I will develop my writing skills, improving my ability to write prose that is readable, focused, and full of details. Trying to do the peer review more effective, and take it serious. Last but not least, it is important to stand in a fair situation when face of a clash of social values. I will try to considering social question in an open mind
